In 2002 after years of DJing for other San Diego DJ companies, nightclubs, promoters and radio mix shows, Daniel Peterson opened his own DJ service with a simple business plan that relied on two principles. The first principle was to get the bride and grooms order straight. Whether its a thematic music mix for cocktail hour, a special slammin edit of the grand entrance music, pronunciations of bridal party members names or sticking to the do-not-play list, make sure that all the details are covered. The second principle was to operate remembering what type of an event a wedding reception is: an unrepeatable, life-changing day that is a representation of the bride and groom to their own families, and respectively to their new families. And once again, the object was to make sure all details were coverd, while utilizing MCing and music programming skills to make it a fun, special and unforgettable celebration for everyone involved. Keeping these two goals in mind, Daniel Peterson went from working a corporate day job during the week while DJing on the weekend, to working as a full-time wedding DJ in San Diego, the city he loves, and doing what he loves doing. Daniel Petersons love of music, mixing music, and putting together sound systems led him to respond to an ad in The Reader where he landed his first job earning money as a wedding DJ. While always DJing weddings, at various points Daniel Peterson has performed as DJ for live on-air radio mixshows and for nightclubs. In the early 2000s he put together his own company and began working full-time as a wedding DJ and MC. DJ Daniel Peterson is a member of the ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association) and operates as a nationally insured disc jockey with R.V. Nucio & Associates.
