Daniel Peterson understands that a wedding counts as an unrepeatable, life-changing day in the lives of the Bride and Groom and their families. It is a family reunion, and also the union of two families, and really is the Bride and Grooms presentation of themselves to their own famlies and to their new families as well. Therefore, creating the prefect level of festivity is paramount to creating a special, unforgettable and fun day for everyone involved.

Daniel Peterson is a big fan of planning. On the wedding day, the answers to all timeline or music questions have been answered and the Bride and Grooms job for that day is simply to enjoy every moment as they celebrate with friends and family. To facilitate this, Daniel has created a 12-page wedding planner that walks brides and grooms through the many timeline and special-music possibilities, and then at the final in-office planning meeting, decisions regarding music and event structure are determined.
Wedding Ceremony at The Thursday Club Daniel can provide an additional ceremony sound system dedicated to the needs of ceremonies with the flexibility to accommodate all microphone needs. An additional sound system for the ceremony means there will be no break in the music or sound and the event will make a smooth transition from ceremony into cocktail hour.
The Grand Entrance is a great dyamic transtion from the foot-tappin cocktail hour into an elegant dinner. Musically there are many ways to stage this moment ranging from a dramatic "Viva La Vida", a rockin "Dont Stop Believin", a bangin "OMG" or a pumpin "I Got A Feeling". Often the First Dance takes place right after the Bride and Grooms formal introduction into the room, making for a nice transition from the liveliness of the Grand Entrance into the tranquility of dinner, and setting the mood for a fun night. Wedding First Dance at The Dana Mission Bay
Wedding Toasts at MoPA The Toasts can make for a nice way to move from dinner into the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances, and then opening the dancefloor up right after that. Two wireless mics allow the Toasts to be staged in a central location viewable by all; remote wireless speakers allow the Toasts to be comfortably heard by all.
After the Parent Dances, it is time to get everyone out on the dancefloor. Since a weddings guestlist usually includes many different personalities and backgrounds, the playlist for the wedding dancefloor typically includes a variety of musical styles and eras so that all feel included in the evenings festivities. Wedding at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club The Cake Cutting usually takes place after about a half hour of open dancing. Daniel has many suggestions for special music to be used, and sometimes at this point the Bride and Groom will thank all the guests for coming. If there will be a Money Dance or an Anniversary Dance, often those are grouped around the Cake Cutting.
The Bouquet Toss and the Garter Toss may take place a little later in the evening, as the dancefloor may be getting a little more clubby with newer hit music as the focus. That said it is always nice to throw in a few oldies later on, as well as a slow dance every now and then, and mix it up for everybody.

Wedding Last Dance at The Prado Using the right mix of music, the energy of the dancefloor builds to the Last Dance. It is great to go out on a high note, with a big send-off finale for the Bride and Groom and all their guests. This is the big Last Dance, and Daniel has many suggestions for ways to cap off a night of celebrating that will be remembered by all.
DJ Daniel Peterson is happy to meet with Brides and Grooms and answer questions as well as talk about how he works with Brides and Grooms to ensure their wedding celebration is a fun, unforgettable and special day from beginning to end. This consultation is free of charge, centrally located in Mission Hills and at the very least Brides and Grooms will gain one insight regarding the role of music and MCing in creating a memorable and fun event.
